DESCRIPTION:Arts-based Workshop\n\nThe BSWSA at the University of Toronto’s Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work would like to invite you to an arts-based workshop that will focus on Black joy and Black liberation. Emilie Jabouin will lead this workshop by using sound and movement as processes for tapping into the Back body experience. Emilie is a dance artist and Ph.D. Candidate in Communication and Culture at the Toronto Metropolitan University. Emilie’s work focuses on bridging the gap between research and performance to support Black healing.

These rounds were developed to provide additional training and education for Advanced Standing and Year 2 students in the Mental Health and Health field of study. The topics will focus on health and mental health equity issues\, and we have invited social workers and other professionals who have expertise in various areas to deliver these talks.
