DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, October 18\, 2016\n10:30am-Noon\nRoom 422 \n  \nJane Maidment\, Department of Human Services & Social Work\, University of Canterbury\, New Zealand \nJane Maidment will facilitate this workshop in person at the FIFSW. \nThis workshop will provide an overview about the steps and processes associated with supervising a student to undertake research tasks on placement. Ideas about how a student might support program evaluation or other relevant research in your agency will be discussed. Ways to makes link between the social work process and research will be canvassed and participants will have an opportunity to discuss ideas for how students might participate in research in their own agency.
