DESCRIPTION:Incentives and Disincentives:\nImproving mental health care in Ontario family health teams\nA Colloquium Presentation with Rachelle Ashcroft\n \nMonday\, March 14\, 2016\n12:15p.m. – 1:15p.m.\nRoom 548\nA pizza lunch will be provided \n  \nRachelle Ashcroft is an Assistant Professor at the School of Social Work\, Renison University College at the University of Waterloo. She has 12 years of practice experience as a social worker in various community healthcare and hospital settings\, and completed her PhD in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2013. Rachelle received CIHR specialized training through the Social Aetiology of Mental Illness training program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health\, and the Transdisciplinary Understanding and Training on Research – Primary Health Care program through Western University. Her research focuses on interprofessional primary health care\, mental health care\, social work in primary care\, and health equity. Supported by CIHR\, she is currently investigating incentives and disincentives that influence mental health care in Ontario’s Family Health Teams. \n  \n  \n  \n
