Update for FIFSW Practicum I students and field instructors | April 23, 2020

For Practicum I students and field instructors:

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Practicum Office has been working on increasing flexibility regarding the Practicum I Course.

The Practicum Office can now support Practicum I field instructors and students, if they mutually agree, continuing into a Practicum II together.  This option will allow the student to benefit from onboarding, orientation and will build upon competencies developed in Practicum I.

For students and field instructors who are interested in exploring this option, we encourage you to have a conversation about how this might work.  Practicum I students and field instructors must independently and mutually agree to this continuation.  An email indicating this intent should be sent to your Faculty-Field Liaison and practicum.fsw@utoronto.ca before the end of Practicum I.
