Adriana Shnall has over 25 years of direct clinical experience as a healthcare and gerontological social worker. For the last 24 years, she has been working at Baycrest Health Sciences in the Sam and Ida Ross Memory Clinic as an outpatient social worker supporting patients and their families living with dementia. Prior to that, she worked as an inpatient social worker at the Toronto East General Hospital.
Dr. Shnall is an interprofessional educator at Baycrest and has taught for the last three years at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work (FIFSW) and through the Institute for the Life Course and Aging. Dr. Shnall completed her PhD at the University of Toronto’s FIFSW, where she currently holds an academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Status Only.
