Gerardo Betancourt, PhD Student, presenting in the LGBT Rights-Pan Am Conference

Gerardo Betancourt, a fourth year PhD student at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto is presenting at the LGBT Rights-Pan Am conference, at the Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity studies at the University of Toronto on June 20th, 2015.

His conversation will be around Human Rights and it’s direct connection with sexual health, particularly among  gay latino immigrant men in Canada.

He will also be talking about a theoretical approach for understanding sexualities — La Pasión —(2015); and about ChicosNet, a community-based behavioural program for intervening in sexual HIV risk practices and behaviours.
